Tina and I could not have found a better day-of coordinator. To provide some background, we are based in the US, didn’t speak a single word of French, and attempted to plan this ceremony all on our own. As you probably can guess, this was no easy feat.
The better question is what couldn’t Mel do? For us, she was an extension of us in Paris, helping us liaise with all of our French vendors, ensuring our vision was true, and our source of truth for every part of the ceremony. She mentioned that she was excited to work with the ‘dream team’, but in reality, the ‘dream team’ wouldn’t have even existed without her, much like a coach to a team of superstars. From early morning meetings (due to time zone differences), to coordination across all our vendors and attendees, to resolving some unfortunate issues we encountered with the late night staff, she executed everything perfectly.
If you’re looking for a reliable, fun, and inspirational day-of coordinator in Paris, there is no better person.

She’s sharp, organized, professional, punctual, but above all!!! Attentive, passionate, and FUN! Not only does she lighten your load, but she also does it with an energy and enthusiasm that makes even the tough moments enjoyable! She’s available and wears many hats. During the preparations, she’s on top of things to answer questions and give her best advice. She always manages to build a rapport with the various vendors, which greatly aids in a smooth flow. So many things to say! Initially, we were supposed to get married in April 2020 but due to the health crisis, we had to postpone our wedding celebration to April 2022. Ultimately, this long preparation was beneficial for us as it allowed us to put things into perspective and to review/correct certain aspects. Mélanie was able to adapt to all our various changes, accompanying us with a lot of kindness, patience, and above all with love and joy!
On the big day, she demonstrated impeccable organization! She knew how to adapt to every unforeseen situation and find a solution so that everything could be done on time and without stress.
Moreover, she knows how to make both the bride and groom and the guests feel at ease, ensuring that everyone can enjoy the day/evening. What a joy it was to choose Mélanie as the officiant for our wedding on October 15, 2022. We weren’t really familiar with secular ceremonies, but we have no regrets.
